Resonated —both as a lover of plants (my fiddle leaf does the same!!) and poetry! Beautiful imagery of the music of growth- the meaning of that pause or rest when dormant is not death. As always, thanks for sharing!!

Love it! Could you add somewhere the date you wrote these? I’m curious about the context of writing always! Though maybe with editing it’s not quite a “one day” thing but then again you did say you wrote a poem a day so I think of these as having been written on specific days!

Good idea to include the original writing date! I definitely note that down and have found it interesting to see themes emerging at certain times. This one was written May 30th last year. I think it coincided with waiting for things to take shape with my new life in Austin. And waiting for things to take shape in me.
